The Bay Area Science Festival is an annual event planned by the Science & Health Education Partnership (SEP) at the University of California – San Francisco (UCSF). The festival aims to provide science and technology events to celebrate the Bay Area's achievements in science and technology. Home to leading research institutions and biotechology companies, lectures, activities, demonstrations, exhibitions, concerts will be provided at a variety of locations in the Bay Area.

• To raise awareness of the importance of science it plays in everyday life

• Provide the community with access to the regions science and technological assets

• Engage the community with the fun and exciting field of science

• Inspire the youth to pursue the field of science and technology

• Encourage the partnership and collaboration of the STEM community
